Sleeping With Sirens
Conventional wisdom says Post-Hardcore bands don't land in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. Their efforts show up on the Indie, Hard Rock or Heatseekers charts. But in '13, Sleeping With Sirens defied expectations when their third studio effort "Feel" sold 59,000 copies in its first week to nail the #3 spot on the Billboard survey (behind Queens Of The Stone Age and Daft Punk).
Sleeping With Sirens' debut "With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear" went to #7 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart, and to #36 on Top Independent Albums. The '10 set was also notable for introducing Kellin Quinn's tenor leggiero vocal range - a lightweight, flexible tenor type of voice.
The group's sophomore set "Let's Cheer To This," with the track "Do It Now Remember It Later," was followed by the acoustic EP "If You Were A Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack."
Two singles, "Low" and "Alone," preceded the release of "Feel."
