Last Shadow Puppets

Last Shadow Puppets grew out of a collaboration between Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) and Miles Kane, when latter's band, Little Flames, supported the Arctic Monkeys on an '05 tour.

Kane subsequently played guitar on the Arctic Monkeys' "505" (from "Favourite Worst Nightmare") and on B-sides.

Last Shadow Puppets' "The Age Of The Understatement" dropped in '08. The set gathered numerous honors (Mojo - Breakthrough Artist, Q Awards - Best New Act and NME Awards - Best Video: "My Mistakes Were Made for You") and went to #1 in the U.K.; #111 in the U.S.

Despite the impressive debut and talk of a follow-up in '09, nothing came of it. Kane busied himself with a solo career while Turner returned to Arctic Monkeys.

But in '15, drummer James Ford confirmed that an album had been recorded and would be released the following year.

"Everything You've Come to Expect" had the three original members Turner, Kane and Ford) plus bassist Zach Dawes.
