L.A. based singer/guitarist Kyle Thomas masquerades as King Tuff, a Glam/Metal hybrid.
His eponymous album dropped in '12 and registered on secondary charts (Billboard's Heatseeker Albums and CMJ).
'08 debut album "Was Dead," was barely noticed when initially released, possibly because so few copies were press. It garnered a more favorable reception when re-released in '13. The set cracked the Top 10 (#8) on the Heatseeker chart.
Having knocked Jack White's solo debut "Blunderbuss" from the top spot on the CMJ chart with "King Tuff," it was a tad ironic that "Live At Third Man Records," a '13 release, was recorded at White's Nashville studio.
The following year, King Tuff returned with a studio set, "Black Moon Spell."
