Intronaut

Intronaut's third full-length album, "Valley Of Smoke," featured a guest appearance by Tool bassist Justin Chancellor. A couple years later, Intronaut supported Tool on the first leg of their North American tour.

With the tour completed, Intronaut, a name referencing an "inner traveler," began work on "Habitual Levitations (Instilling Words With Tones)."

The L.A. Prog Metal group, who were often compared with Mastadon, began recording demos in '05. The songs were mostly written by guitarist/vocalist Sacha Dunable prior to the group's formation.

Intronaut issued "Void," their full-length debut a year later.

Prior to sophomore set, "Prehistoricisms" the group lost guitarist/vocalist Leon del Muerte. He was replaced by Dave Timnick.

Jumping forward, Intronaut's fifth studio effort, "The Direction Of Last Things," dropped in '15. The album featured the track "Fast Worms."
