Springsteen, Green Day and Elvis Rule RockinTown.com in 2009
According to RockinTown.com voters, Bruce Springsteen’s 16th studio album, "Working On A Dream," was the Best Album of 2009. It beat out Green Day’s "21st Century Breakdown" (number 2) and Fall Out Boy’s "Folie A Duex" (number 3).

The totals were far closer than in previous years. A mere 2,500 ballots separated Presley and Green Day. Approximately 1,000 votes were the difference between Green Day, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. Former Hall of Fame winners, Nirvana and Pearl Jam finished 5th and 7th respectively with the Ramones at number 6.
Green Day did come up a winner in the tally of the Top 13 Best Albums of All-Time. "American Idiot" continued its reign. The Beatles "Revolver" came in second with "Led Zeppelin II" third.
