Elvis Presley Rules RockinTown Voting for Second Consecutive Year

Elvis Presley is the first artist ever to win the RockinTown.com Hall of Fame award two times and he did it in consecutive years (2007 and 2008). Presley beat out Green Day, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and 2005 Hall of Fame winner, Nirvana.

"It was phenomenal that Presley won the voting in 2007 but to do it again is simply astounding," said RockinTown Managing Editor, Mark Clinton.

Puddle Of Mudd is the Best Artist of the Year according to the annual RockinTown poll. The group and their late 2007 album, "Famous," garnered more votes than Foxboro Hot Tubs (the Green Day spin-off), 3 Doors Down, Seether and Smashing Pumpkins.

Rock groups who have released an album of original material in October of the previous year through November of the current year are eligible for voting by RockinTown members.
